Three homeschool resource pathways

Each pathway is a growing library. Topics listed without a link are written and published on a rolling basis — the pathway page collects them as they go live.

For charter families

Charter School Funding

Elevate Martial Arts proudly works with charter-school families whenever possible.

Charter programs set their own rules, budgets and vendor requirements, and those rules change from year to year. Nothing here is a promise of eligibility, approval or funding for any individual family — please confirm the current details with your charter representative.

Participating

Lakeview Charter

A current participating charter school. Families should still confirm current enrichment rules, vendor status and available funds with their own charter representative before enrolling.

Local context

Serving Lake County families

Lake County homeschool families

Homeschooling in Lake County usually means driving a little for anything structured. Families here piece a week together from home study, outdoor time and a small number of consistent classes, which is why the classes that do fit have to be worth the trip.

Middletown

Our primary location. Morning and afternoon classes run through the week, so a homeschool schedule can usually find a time that does not collide with the core of the school day.

Clearlake

A supported training location serving families on the north and east shore, with the same curriculum and coaching standards as Middletown.

What to expect from us

Why homeschool families train here

Experienced coaches

Our staff has taught children, teens and adults in Lake County for more than 20 years, with ongoing training through Kovar Systems.

Safe learning environment

Progressive drills, controlled partner work and supervised classes. No program can remove all risk, but ours is built to reduce it.

Age-appropriate classes

Separate programs for ages 3–4, 5–8, 9–12, teens and adults, so expectations match the stage a child is actually at.

Positive community

The same faces week after week — a steady peer group that many homeschool families are specifically looking for.

Character development

Respect, effort and self-control are taught directly in class, not treated as a side effect.

Flexible scheduling

Multiple class times across two locations, including daytime options that fit around a homeschool morning.
